About Resonance Coherent Systems
What We Are Building
Resonance Coherent Systems is a field state monitoring and intelligence platform. We build instrumentation that tracks the coherence state of Earth's electromagnetic environment - the geomagnetic field, solar wind conditions, and the coupling dynamics between them - in real time, at research grade.
Our flagship system, RFS-X, has been running continuously against 60 years of solar and geomagnetic data. It produces a suite of derived field state metrics that describe not just discrete space weather events - solar flares, geomagnetic storms - but the broader coherence architecture within which those events occur.
We call this architecture the field. The field has a long-term character (climate), coherent medium-term episodes (songs), and discrete events embedded within them (notes). Every existing space weather monitoring system operates at the note level. RFS-X characterizes songs and maps climate. No other system does this.
The Research Foundation
The Platform is built on a research program that spans 60 years of backcomputed field state data and ongoing prospective validation. Key findings underlying the current system:
- 66.7% discrete precursor detection rate across 12 confirmed modern-era geomagnetic storm events, with 100% any-tier detection rate
- 87-hour precursor lead time on the October 2024 G4 geomagnetic storm - the system's headline validation finding
- 91.67% validation correspondence at the current detection threshold
- Three confirmed song family types in the 40-year field state record, classified by buildup geometry, departure symmetry, and coupling duration
Our research is published as preprints through Zenodo and described in detail on the /research page. These papers document the methodology, validation approach, and theoretical framework underlying Platform outputs.
Who We Are
Resonance Coherent Holdings LLC is a Delaware limited liability company building at the intersection of space weather science, systems instrumentation, and field coherence research. We operate as an independent research and technology organization.
The Platform is designed to grow. RFS-X is the first operational layer. Planned systems include Earth Resonance Network (ERN), Earth Resonance State (RFS-E), and the Field State View (FSV) - a unified public dashboard of global field coherence that no existing platform provides.
What We Are Not
We are not a government agency. We are not affiliated with NOAA, NASA, USGS, or any other official space weather monitoring organization. Our outputs are research-grade instrumentation data and do not replace official space weather monitoring and alerts.
We do not provide financial, medical, legal, or emergency preparedness advice. See our Disclaimer (/disclaimer) for full detail.
Built on Open Science
The data sources underlying RFS-X are publicly available scientific datasets, including solar wind data from NOAA DSCOVR, X-ray flux data from NOAA GOES satellites, and geomagnetic indices from international monitoring networks. Our methodology is documented and published. Our findings are reproducible from public data.
We believe the field should be visible. That is why we built this.
